Q: What’s your name?
A: Lamma.

Q: Where are you from?
A: I hail from the mutli-cultural city of Toronto.

Q: How would you describe your music style?

A:  My music style varies from roots Reggae, R&B soul with a mix of the golden era of hip-hop influence which creates an authentic original style that has never been heard before. Its epic, fresh and something new
for the world to hear and see.

Q: How long have you been recording music?

A:  I've been recording music from 2003. I didn't take it seriously until the recording of my Demotape which was released last June.

Q: I heard that song “Get Ready”, how did you come up with that song?

A: Well I refused to create a rap song that would be so generic and lack content and concept. So I decided to create a real good rap song with lots of substance, a song that can motivate, encourage and build self-confidence for a person in need. The production delievered that type of vibe, the rest is easy.

Q: How long did it take you to write that song?

A: "Get Ready" took a couple hours to complete.

Q: Who produced that beat?

A: KB Tha Crazy Guy. He is also a fellow Canadian from Toronto.

Q: Are you working on a mixtape or album?

A: I do have a Demo Tape out right now titled "Who's Lamma?" which consist of 6 songs. 3 original songs and 3 songs that I had done over industry beats. Folks can find that on www.Datpiff.com for free download. My debut mixtape is titled "Inauguration" which will be out July 1st, Canada Day. Be on the look out for that and I'm already in the works right now with recording my next mixtape so the work does not stop for me.

Q: Who is featured on mixtape or album?

A: I only got one feature on the mixtape. Her name is Gina Lee who also hails from Toronto.

Q: How many tracks are on the mixtape or album?

A: There are 17 joints on the mixtape. Every joint attracts a different crowd of folk, so everybody can relate and enjoy the "Inauguration".

Q: Do you have any music videos off that mixtape or album?

A: The video for my first single "Get Ready" is out right now on YouTube, which is off my upcoming mixtape. I'm about to shoot 3 more videos real soon so stay tuned.

Q: Do you have anyone you will like to work with in music?

A: I would love to work with artists like Aretha Franklin, Frank Ocean & Method Man.
I think we'd make somthing monuemental, something classic. Yeah boyyyy!

Q: Are you an unsigned artist?
A: At this moment I'm an unsigned artist.

Q: Do you have a specific label you will like to sign with?

A: I would sign with 50 Cent's G-Unit brand just because he really stands behind his artists and gives them a real good push. I like everything that he stands for as a person and businessman. 50 waddup son, holla at me! (Laughs).

Q: What haven’t you done in 2011 that you want to get done in 2012 in your career?

A: I want to get my brand out there much more than I did in 2011 and I believe that 2012 is that year for me to do so. We plan to hit the road and tour.

Q: Do you have any thank you’s that you would like to say?

A: I wanna thank you for this opportunity to share to your viewers and the world
something about myself. Quick shoutout my Plot N Scheme squad, Dee Prawl, KB Tha Crazy Guy, the D1 conglamerate, Christer Harris, Baby Ezra and the city that I'm from... Toronto for the love and continuous support. Lamma loves ya'll!
